Before the restoration.

Wings, tailfeathers and fabric removed.

Detail of the rear window, auxiliary fuel tank and fuselage tubing.

Stripped down to the frame.

Frame has been primed, control column and rudder pedals painted.

Wood formers and longerons reinstalled.

Instrument panel reinstalled.  Note the lever for the McDowell starter below the left glove box.

Painted frame with woodwork and headliner installed.

Fuselage inverted, beginning the covering process.

Fitting the fabric to the fuselage...it's starting to look like a Chief again.

Shrinking the fabric to the fuselage.
